Among the many topics discussed on PACS-L, the one I find most useful is
information resources available on the Internet--those occasional messages
about the location of the latest version of Internet resource documents, new
or useful FTP, WAIS, or CWIS sites, and other information about the how-to's
and where-to's of accessing information on the Internet.
This word-of-mouth discourse seems like a good topic for a separate
discussion list--one devoted specifically to announcing the latest
find on the Internet, or the most recent addition to its burgeoning
resources, as well as tips and strategies on Internet use. With so many
people exploring the Internet separately, shouldn't there be one place to
share what's been found? Has anyone thought about setting something like this
up? Is it a good idea? Does it exist, and I just haven't heard about it?
