Chicago Public Library uses ink jet printers for all public access
printing -- we also provide free printing. Nine pins are reliable but
noisy and slow. We have found the deskjets to be amazingly resilient --
they hold up better than the public pcs do -- and the warranty on them is
very good -- two years.

It's true the public sometimes helps themselves to paper for making notes
but we have really only had a few problem patrons -- most of our end users
demonstrate alot of respect for the service.
