Hi Everyone,
I have a rather odd request. I'm working on a book for ALA on planning new
library buildings and additions. Many of you have been involved in building
programs and have acquired a lot of very useful experience.
I would really appreciate hearing some of your stories- horror stories,
happy stories, funny stories- whatever. What advice do you have for
librarians who are new to building projects? What should they know to
survive? What do you wish you'd known when you started?
