I'm not sure this will answer your question, because I'm not sure how
many of ours can be considered to deal solely with the university library.
However, I've been meaning to post my own query regarding information
policies to this list anyway (see below).

For your information:
The Coalition for Networked Information, is compiling a collection of
information policy statements. The first compilation of such statements
was done under the guidance of Susan Brynteson, Director of Libraries
at the University of Delaware. A spiral bound edition was released at
the time of the Fall 1991 meeting of the Coalition Task Force under the title
_Information Policies: a compilation of position statements, principles,
statutes, and other pertinent statements_. It includes documents from such
sources such as the American Library Association, the Association of
Research Libraries, the Research Libraries group, and the United States
Government, to name just a few.

If you are interested in looking at these documents, you can access them
via anonymous FTP and retrieve them from the Coalition's server.

   ftp ftp.cni.org
   login anonymous
   send e-mail address as password
   cd /CNI/documents/info.policies

There are four subdirectories which contain the information policies.
Each subdirectory contains the same information, but in different data
formats (ASCII, Adobe Postscript, Word for Mac, and Word Perfect for DOS).
You can retrieve the entire document as one file, or each individual
organization's statements are stored as a separate file in the subdirectory
called by.org. NOTE: earlier troubles with the Postscript files should
now be corrected. Check the /CNI/documents/info.policies/README file
for more information on downloading, and the details of the file formats.

My question:
I am building a database of these policies, and am interested in adding
other documents to the database as they become available. Do you know
of other documents which you believe should be included? Does your
agency/organization have a document you wish to include? If so, please
contact me directly.

This database will be publicly accessible in the future, but is not
currently available.
