Several weeks ago, I posted a message on this discussion group regarding
JSTOR Technical Issues. Thanks to all who have responded. That was a great
help. Below is a summary of the responses I received. I have a detailed
summary in Word document. If anybody is interested, I would be happy to send
to you.

1. The responses were all very positive from a technical point of view. All
libraries responded had no problem in viewing and printing JSTOR articles.

2. Some libraries have met the advanced system requirements. Most libraries
provide access to JSTOR in all their public workstations including Macs
(6100 and up) and PCs ( ranging from 486s and Pentiums). JSTOR works well in
all machines and a range of printers.

3. Most libraries found the instructions on the JSTOR home page were very
clear and sufficiently useful. So there is no need to provide local help
document.

4. Some libraries are focus on the in-house users and haven*t thought more
about remote users. However, they didn*t received any complaints from remote
users.
