LCSH is a rather *traditional* approach, and those of us who favor it (count
me in) don't wish to be viewed as reactionaries. Although LCSH has its
limitations, it is familiar; I believe the term I used in my private message
on this subject was "instinctive". After many years as a librarian, it has
become so.
