I am sorry that I did not catch this post earlier. Several of our public
libraries have installed Touch Screens both the overlay type and the built
in type and they work great. The overlay type of Touch Screen cost from
$250 to $300 each and the built in type usually cost about $500 to $700 for
the monitor type with a Touch screen built in. One type even has a glass
front which makes it easier to clean without worrying about scratches. You
could find several makers by doing a WWW search. I know of at least one
Library Automation Vendor that sells the overlay type.
