To recap:
The Great Bend, Kansas public library is looking for an alternative to the
mouse for its ADA accessible work stations. After a week of suggestions the
results are in.
Trackpads 5 votes
Trackballs 3 votes
Mouse 1 vote
Everyone who suggested a particular trackpad suggested the Cirque product
Glidepoint Touth Pad 2. In the trackball arena devices from Logitech,
Kensington, and Microspeed each got one vote. The single vote for the mouse
was a reminder that there are folks out there for whom a trackball is not a
good alternative.
Thanks to all who replied, we'll be studying the results, and making a
decision in the near future.
