I promise to make no more comments on this.
1. I don't wear knickers or pantyhose or tights. This DOES
help me keep from getting my knickers in a knot, I'm sure.
2. Not all things that can be done should be done. Atomic
bombs and germ warfare come to mind. Again, no argument.
But to me the issue under discussion is ridiculously trivial in
comparison.
3. I was commenting on the legal angles since, if memory
serves, that was the angle raised by the original questioner. I
clean my outbox regularly and won't waste time checking list
archives.
4. I do fill in at reference about six hours a week (gotta keep
the skills up, and know how users deal with the electronic
services), and may even hitch up my pants at the desk at
times. However, if anyone finds that to be "cheesecake" or
"erotic", they're even sicker than me. o-) No aspersions
being cast at others....but remember, if you're doing any
"cheesecake" for the camera, you're doing it for the public on
site too. I imagine the clerks at Circle K, White Hen, and
7-11 occasionally hitch up their whatevers, too, and they're
ALWAYS on camera, and much closer views than the one
described.
5. Have never worn a slip or such, but having been married to
four librarians and having three sisters and a mother, I'm well
aware of the problems of such garments. I'll continue to "just
say no" to such things. o-)
