NEBIC, the bibliographic instruction committee of ACRL/New England will
hold its summer meeting at the Tisch Library at Tufts University,
tentatively scheduled for June 19th. The topic to be covered is using the
Web for library instruction/orientation purposes.
Have you put together a web site that you are particularly proud of, that
you'd like to discuss and demonstrate to your colleagues? On the other
hand, if you have some disasters that you'd like to bravely share with the
rest of us, we'd like to hear about those, too! General orientation sites
as well as course-integrated ones are both of interest.
If you would like to put together an informal presentation, lasting
between 10-20 minutes, please contact Laurie Sabol by phone (617 628
5000 x5167) or email (lsabol@library.tufts.edu) no later than May 20,
the sooner the better. (Remember: you don't have to have your presentation
finished by then, but I need to know how many speakers to plan for no
later than the 20th.)
The meeting will also be a chance for you to see our new electronic
instruction classroom, take a tour of the still new Tisch Library, and
participate in the NEBIC business meeting.
Publicity flyers/registration forms will be sent out soon.
