HEALTHWEB ADDS ELEVEN SUBJECT AREAS
HealthWeb announces the addition of eleven pages of evaluated,
Internet-accessible resources. The following subject areas are
now available at the HealthWeb site:
http://www.ghsl.nwu.edu/healthweb/
Diabetes Endocrinology
Genetics Geriatrics & Gerontology
Osteopathic Medicine Laboratory Medicine & Pathology
Pediatrics Physiology
Psychiatry Transplantation
Women's Health
These pages join over 30 areas which have already been developed.
The HealthWeb Project seeks to organize and enhance access to Internet resources
for the international health sciences community. Working together within their
"areas of excellence," the health sciences librarians and information
professionals from the Big Ten universities and the University of Chicago (the
CIC - Committee on Institutional Cooperation) select critically evaluated
resources, rather than providing an exhaustive index to health-related
information. Comments related to the HealthWeb Project may be sent via email to
the communications representative at healthweb@umich.edu.
