Hello! Faxon is sponsoring a short survey on preferred learning styles of
library professionals. We are interested in how librarians like to learn, both
now and as a life-long process. Our intent is to use this information to
improve our learning support services.

Background

As in many professions, we are experiencing rapid changes as a result of new
technology. These changes have an impact on our jobs and current business
situations. We are in a continuous learning mode.

Learning must be an on-going process in our professional environments that
enable us to change and improve. In addition, a wealth of information is
available to us due to improvements in technology. As a result, we as users of
technology find it increasingly difficult to manage new information and to
recall it at the moment of need.

If you are involved in library services, please take a moment to complete the
following questionnaire. We will summarize the results and distribute them to
you as soon as possible.

Please respond by Friday, September 4th. Thanks in advance for your
participation, we greatly appreciate your help.

Cynthia Dibble, Ed.D.
