We've created full word indexes of the Clinton papers that we've gotten
and made them searchable via the WAIS protocol. If you do not have access
to a WAIS client, you may pick one up via anonymous ftp from
sunsite.unc.edu or think.com. Clients are available for DOS, Windows,
Macintosh, VMS, UNIX, and X-windows. If you'd like to try out a simple
WAIS client, one is available on our BBS. telnet bbs.oit.unc.edu and
follow the instructions to create your own id. Select the simple WAIS
client option and there you may search any of nearly 300 databases
including the Clinton papers.
We've also made the sources of the indexed papers available via anonymous
ftp at sunsite.unc.edu.
Look for Bush papers to be made accessable via the same means soon.
