To all systems administrators, librarians and OPAC users out there
We are a two-person team of Library and Information Science students
currently studying at Drexel University in Philadelphia PA. As part of
our current coursework , we are engaged in researching library
automation systems and vendors. We have determined from preliminary
investigations that the Horizon system is among those best suited to
our needs. As part of our product and vendor evaluation process, we
have decided to conduct a small informal user survey, and we are
soliciting your kind assistance as current users in providing us with a
brief and honest assessment of how the product and vendor has met your
libraryUs needs.
Comments can cover any area you wish, but we are particularly interested
in OPAC functionality and quality of customer support provided by the
vendor. If you are planning to migrate to another system for any
reason, please let us know as well. Please note that should you
entertain this request, any information provided will be used only for
study purposes, and no names will be disclosed. Should you wish to
verify that this is a legitimate TacademicU exercise, you may contact
