There is an good print compilation "Directory of Electronic Journals,
Newsletters And Academic Discussion Lists" published by the Assn of
Research Libraries. The current 6th edition lists nearly 1700 journal and
newsletter titles.
I hope you find this info useful.
P.S. The introduction does mention an abridged version of the Directory
being available on the ARL Gopher. Access by pointing your gopher client
to arl.cni.org then chose the Scholarly Communication menu option. The
URL is <gopher://arl.cni.org:70/11/scomm.edir>
