Hello,

We are looking at replacing a few of our barcode reader/scanners
and I was interested in what other local libraries would recommend. There
are many scanners out there and some are superior to others. The technology
behind the scanners has changed somewhat, and the newer models are better
than those just one year old. We are looking for a handheld model that can
be used in a stand and that can be removed from the stand for scanning a
cart full of items.

If you would please take a few moments and send me your thoughts and
suggestions on this, I would appreciate it. Make, model numbers, and
performance are what I am particularly interested in.

Thank you,
