Just a note that I regret the appearance of the Journal of Internet
Cataloging under the Haworth imprint.* Haworth journals are characterized by
high pricing, niche-market publishing with excessive twigging, and very
restrictive control over copyright of authors' works.

Those of us who are concerned about the serials crisis in libraries need to
practice what we preach to other sections of our universities. Publishing in
(and editing for) journals which are reasonably priced and maintain
intellectual property ownership for the author and institution should be our
goal. --pg
