PRODUCT ANALYST

Innovative Interfaces is currently seeking a creative problem solver with
strong expertise in library automation and project management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide oversight for all phases of specific product development and release,
develop specifications, coordinate development work with programmers and

REQUIREMENTS:

Three years related experience;  MLS or library background preferred.

HUMANITIES CATALOGER: Duties include primary responsibility for the
cataloging (both original and revision) of monographs in the LC
classifications B, L, P, and the juvenile literature and rare book
collections, as well as the supervision of one support staff position.
 The Cataloging Department is a highly automated environment with 6
librarians and 12 support staff.  QUALIFICATIONS: REQUIRED -
ALA-accredited MLS; strong academic record; cataloging experience,
including the use of a national bibliographic utility and LC
classification and subject headings; flexibility; good interpersonal
skills.  DESIRED - One or more years of cataloging experience in an
academic library, NOTIS experience, computer literacy; supervisory
experience, excellent communication skills, knowledge of a modern
European language, undergraduate humanities major (preferably
literature); evidence of ability to meet criteria for tenure.
Twelve-month tenure track position.  Benefits include 20 days
vacation; 12 days sick leave; participation in state teachers'
retirement (mandatory) and TIAA or other additional voluntary
retirement plans available; health/life/disability insurance.  Salary
