Inspired by Rick Gates' Internet Hunt, Delphi Internet Services is
introducing the first of a series of regular "Net Stumpers" quizzes on
Friday, 13 September. The quiz is designed to show how to make the most of
today's search engines and directories and other specialized sources to find
information on the Web and the nets as a whole. It is intended as an
educational experience for those learning and a challenge to the experts to
be the first to solve it. Net Stumpers is open to all, but a web connection
is required to enter answers to the questions in the form provided, if you
wish to compete.

Like the old Internet Hunt, the questions will be posted here and elsewhere
when they are released Friday afternoon. The quiz will be shorter than the
old Hunts used to be, and require less burning of the midnight oil for the
winners. The quickest way to see the questions is to check the URL
<http://www.delphi.com/swashzone/netstumpers/stumpers.html> after 3pm EDT.
There is a sample set of questions and answers there now, which will be
replaced with the new questions on Friday afternoon.
