May I request that, as a matter of courtesy, all postings relating to job
vacancies and conferences indicate clearly in the subject line of the
message that they are advertisments, by using "CONFERENCE" or "POSITION
VACANCY" as the first words. Only the first part of a long subject line
such as the one above appears in my mailer and, as such postings increase
in size and frequency, so does my irritation with them increase
proportionately.
Although of interest to many people I'm sure, such postings are for me,
Down Under, merely junk mail and I can't be the only PACS-L subscriber that
thinks so. I'd very much appreciate the chance to delete them unread.
