Subject: RFP for Networked Printers
I am looking for examples of RFP's that have been developed for public
networked printing solutions, including patron billing, queing, onsite
service, vendor-supplied equipment, flexible charging, etc. If anyone
has such a document, I would appreciate receiving a copy. Thanks.

Subject: Q: Windows Menu systems for public workstations?
Sorry for having to post this query. My atempts at searching the
listserve's databases make department meetings look dreamy.
To the point:
We're revamping our networked public workstations and are in need of some
advice.
What are some Windows 3.1 menu applications in use for networked public
workstations? The menu system provides security, customization,
hierarchical menus & help. One such product is the now defunct Direct
Access (perfect but can't get anyone to sell it to us).
We'd rather not use dos even w/ windows apps. launchers (slow drain on
server), the WWW (that's later, once browser holes are plugged), or Saber
for Windows ('pricey' as well as a crasher of our servers).
Thanks all. I'd be happy to summarize for the list.
