We're interested in learning from institutions, colleges and universities
in particular, which have experience in setting up a structure, a team,
or a work group overseeing the ongoing maintenance of the institution's
web pages. Who constitute this work group? How are they chosen and based
on what criteria? How much time does this team devote to the work, etc.?
Also, as staff members within an organization using various Internet and
other networked tools increase, how does one arrive at the appropriate
number of support personnel? Has there been any research done on the
ratio between network size and support resources?
Any input will be greatly appreciated.
