Dear colleagues,
The Pacific Islands Association of Libraries and Archives (PIALA) is
pleased to announce the publication of "PIALA '95 Proceedings:
Preservation of Culture Through Archives and Libraries," the papers from
the 5th annual PIALA Conference edited by Arlene Cohen.
The PIALA '95 was held in Colonia, Yap, November 6-10, 1995. The
proceedings include several papers presented by local Yapese experts and
by participants from the University of the South Pacific in Fiji,
University of California at Los Angeles, the State Library of South
Australia and other Micronesian islands. Copies are available for US$ 20.
including postage and handling.
