I like the idea of a real open discussion session after the talk.
How about this:
19:00 - 19:15 Info and Announcements
19:15 - 20:00 Speaker

21:00 - 21:30 Open Discussions
21:30 Adjourn to Restaurant
OK, so who wants to volunteer to facilitate the Open Discussion section?
