Ok, here goes...
as y'all know, I'm slinging tacos by night and working by day (hence my lack of
net time lately)... this leads me to fits of insanity...
so, in one of my insane fits, I came up with the following musing...
Just what the hell is Grimace from the McDonald's commercials anyway???? \
I decided to call a local McDonald's to find out... they send me to the
800 number, which I don't have handy atm...
One person tells me "er, uh, I really don't know"...
Not to be undaunted, I called again...
"Grimace is a jolly purple fellow who has no gender and is Ronald McDonald's
best friend"...
Ok, I can buy that... what WHAT IS HE???? He's not a fellow, per se, he
has no human features.
Ok, to satisfy my insanity and to humor me, here's where you come in...
I want all you net people out there to call the 800 number (any local McD's
should have it) and ask them what grimace is... pass this note to your friends.
Y'see, we can make a major marketing change in the McDonald's line by making
them think the big damn purple thing is popular... I bet if enough people from
all over the country call, we'll be able to get them to make a Grimace
commercial or something...
Ok, I'm dead serious, but like I said, I'm prone to insanity fits... ;)
