Q: How many different kinds of carbon compounds are there?
A: There's "al-kynes"!
Get it? "al-kynes" sounds like "all kinds"! It is not only refering to the
diversity of organic compounds, but also the type of organic compounds known
as "alkynes"! It is a homonym you see.
