Some of you may find a web page that I just created at
http://www.mit.edu/people/elliot/olympics/results.html pretty funny. Fed up
with all the American nationalism I've been forced to bear while watching
the olympics down here, I started keeping track of how Canada was doing by
multiplying our medal count by 9, to make up for the population
difference. :) This gave rise to the idea "What if they actually did keep
track of things that way?" and consequently to my web page which has a
news article about the IOC announcements, and a chart showing the updated
standings I computed. Feel free to link to it if you *really* like it.
