Subject: Here's a humorous story that I heard recently.
You know how in cartoons, if someone got injured, the best way to "cure"
them was to "reinjure" them? For example, in Yogi the Bear, one time he
got hit in the head by a rock and started having a strange dream. His
partner, Bubba used his home-grown medical skills and knocked him on the
head once more with a rock and whammo, Yogi woke up all fine!
Well, once upon a time, two brothers were playing in the park and one
tumbled at the bottom and got hit in the head. Now the way the
playground was laid out, the probability of serious injury was *very
low*. Unfortunately, the two brothers were watching Yogi Bear
previously, and the uninjured brother decided to play "doctor", picked
up a big rock, and WHAMMO! The poor brother now gets sent to the
hospital.
Years later, the family is eating dinner at Thanksgiving and they're
reminiscing about days long past. The mother speaks up, "There was one
thing that I never understood." She continues, "One time your brother
fell at the bottom of a harmless slide. The part that I dont understand,
was how he ended up with a cracked skull?"
Hope you enjoyed it.
