Well, I guess you're right. In my experience with that module it really
doesn't do much to abstract anything away from the underlying gnuplot
application. This never really bothered me because there are other
charting modules available for people looking to generate a quick graph.
The strength of Chart::Gnuplot is that if you have a larger application
in which gnuplot is a good fit for charting and you don't want to write
your own gnuplot glue.
