Would it matter what home directory the account had, if they created
symlink to the unique path, or are you saying the mount points
alternate without notice and the path might change and break after the
initial link creation? Anyway, I suppose a few of the solutions have
got'yas.

i will ask her about it and then laugh seeing you on the food stamp line
that you are on. i place perl people and you would be the last one on my
list. whether you know perl or not (and we all seem to agree you don't),
your belligerent attitude and inability to take any criticism or feedback
on your code and your history of verbal abuse here precludes me from
ever offering you a lead in perl or any programming field. the first
requirement for any decent programmer is to be able to learn from others
and this means accepting feedback and comments on your work. learn that
first. then show that for several years and you might be allowed to edit
comments on some open source project.

please put that on your resume. it will help you get a perl job. in fact
i will help you rewrite your resume to properly reflect your talents and
personality. but only if you actually use my edits and publish it as
your resume. i will be glad to show the world what you really are.

i asked her and you didn't. she also says your perl code sucks and only
you seem to disagree. so your claims about your perl skills lack any
backing except your. not a way to land a job which is your immediate
request. too bad for you.

<snip>

I have you blocked, but honestly, do you really think your attitude here
is going to get you a job? You annoy people here all of the time and
then come begging every few months for work in this very group. I
don't think anyone will fault you for not being a Perl coding guru,
even if you like to claim you are, but when you have that sort of
attitude, just being arrogant isn't going to make up for your lack of
coding skills or your lack of social skills.

I honestly don't think you're the worst coder out there, though I don't
think you're really very good (just being honest), but with the right
attitude and humility, you could maybe get an intern level job that
pays, and you can gain the skills to become a better coder and get
higher paying jobs. Or, you can come here daily to this group and post
arrogant things and attack people that don't think you're as good as
you think you are, and that will get you nowhere.

Then again, luckily for you, I think you're just completely anonymous
here anyway, but if this is where people know you as your posting name,
you're looking to get rejected before you even have a chance with your
history here. I feel bad for anyone that doesn't have a job in this
economy, but the way you act, I'm not surprised you're having trouble
finding work. I've never had a problem locating sys admin or
programming work and can get a job in a day that lasts months or years,
but I don't go out of my way to antagonize people in the programming or
sys admin communities either.

Not that you should allow someone to push you around or not stand up for
yourself, but I find your entire attitude confusing. Maybe you're not
seriously looking for a job? Or, maybe you are that clueless? You
might not like me saying this and you're welcome to take offense, but
it would benefit you to consider it, for your own sake of gaining
employment. You can start now, by stopping this nonsense and attitude.
be open to learning and improving and act decent, it'll get you far in
most of life.

Wheather I land a job or not, Perl skillz are somewhat tarded in the
minds of the masses that visit here and see the same posters.
My skillz are something you will never know or understand. Not because
your not great, but more likely, that you think you are.
