Login.krb broken; gives TERM as console

The login.krb distributed in the kerberos package sets the
default terminal type to "console", which is wrong. I have
a binary that works (although I'm not sure what sources it
came from) that successfully sends my terminal type (xterm).
There is a definite difference in the login.krb. For example,
I can run strings on the "bad" one and a grep for "console" comes
up positive; not so for the "good" one...

PS: The problems you discover when installing a fresh new machine.
I installed Slackware 2.1.0 and Linux-Athena, and look at all the
problems I'm discovering... :-)
