It sounds like Naomi is most concerned about the support issues here.
I wasn't able to talk to her about it today (she was teaching a class
until 1:30, when I had to leave), so I'll bring up the issue here.

Wouldn't it be better just to have a message at startup, telling
people to send questions and problem reports to linux-help@mit.edu
intead of using OLC?  Simply having users do "add linux" and "maple"
isn't likely to give them this information, and will probably just
generate OLC questions of the form, "Where do I find Maple under
Linux?"
