Hi,
I hope I am directing this note to the correct list. I am a Residential
Computing Consultant and I am using the latest moira package from
/mit/linux/packages on my linux machine. In the past, the moira program
differed from the one we were instructed to use in /mit/moira. For
some reason, I could never seem to add machines using the old linux version
and I would always get permission errors, so I was in the habit of having
to telnet to use the new dec version. I was happy to see that the new
linux moira package released Jan 10 (I believe) had been updated. On my first
use I ran into a seg fault while trying to add an IP address. I also
noticed (although trivial) that "mit.edu" was appended to my hostname
instead of "MIT.EDU.." as in the standard version of moira. I would be
very happy if you could remedy these errors. I am using kernel 1.1.85.
Thanks very much.
