How about: "Sounds like a good way to get IS to spend money on
software for our personal workstations, to reduce the load on dialups,
to promote Linux at MIT, and to help unclog the clusters"?
If you were looking for negative comments, I can give one of those,
too. I don't think we'll be able to do the quality and quantity of
testing that ACS would like. But we'll be doing much better than they
would on Linux, and probably only a little worse than they do on DEC
and Sun. This is sub-optimal, but so is all of Athena...
