The Athena telnet stuff is in the directories "AL" and "telnet", just
like it is in the athena/bin directory of the 7.7 release. I renamed
"ktelnet" to "ktelnet.defunct"; I think I was the only one to work
on it, and will get rid of it in a few days.

I had to make a change to /etc/athena/login.krb to get the Athena
telnetd to work; the old login.krb wouldn't allow -f to be used with a
bunch of other arguments, and the new one does. I made this change
both in "login.krb" and in "kerberos/appl/bsd", but because I can't
write files in /usr/athena/build/kerberos (stupid NFS permission
issues, will go away when we use AFS for everything), I installed it
from login.krb, which looks like the "wrong" directory based on the
makefiles. We'll live.

I also made the change in
/afs/sipb/project/sipb-athena/kerberos/appl/bsd/login.c. I don't know
what Sal's plans are for project.sipb-athena, but I figured I should
keep the existing code in sync.

Everything was changed under RCS except the top-level README file,
which wasn't under RCS to begin with. Enjoy.
