I agree that /sbin and /usr/sbin should not be in the path. Consider
this a patch to my patch.. The only user program I can find in either
directory is showmount...
However, That does not mean my patch is not valid for other reasons,
such as adding in some linux-specific paths (like /usr/TeX/bin, etc.)
and also fixing the manpath, and removing non-linux directories (like
/usr/new and /usr/andrew)
