I rebuilt and reinstalled mhmail on Keesh. We're still using the old
libc (4.4.4) and I used the old sources from the kerberos tree, not
the shared-lib sources which I haven't gotten to build yet. Nothing
should have changed. If anything had been working that stopped
working, please fix it. :-)
There is only one reason I did this: I wanted the file "install.out".
Now I have it.
The mh package desperately needs to be remade. Probably the biggest
problem is the lack of man pages. But there are others. I'll go
through the install.out and try to figrue out what files mh installed
and remake the package.
Some notes: mh sucks.
"show" is 107k stripped with a shared libc. I could write "show" as a
3-line shell script. Sigh.
"forw" is 116k, "inc" is 137k, and the "mail shell???" "msh" weighs in
at a staggering 209k. People should stop putting up with this.
