Hello,
Is it possible for you to make the RH installer with the option of
upgrade before it checks the network card?
I noticed that RH 6.0 and above don't support the old network card which
is supported by RH 5.2/4.2. My AT2000U is an example. I tried to intall RH
6.x but failed because of network card problem.
I also noticed that if by upgrading instead of installation, then Linux
would keep the current network card information and then this problem could
be avoided. (I successfully upgraded from RH Linux 5.2 to RH 7.1 and kept
my network card AT2000U working properly. But I don't have Athena support.)
Will my request be doable? Thank you.
