The current IS installer is bizarrely and subtly broken with regard to
3c905c support.  If you want to try 9.0.0, use 18.18.2.20 as your install
server and see how it works out.  (Take the defaults as offered.)  It
works fine on a GX150 with the same ethernet interface.

Note that what's there is actually slightly out of date, and 9.0.0 alpha
does not actually exist yet.  (Booting from 18.18.2.20 will get you an
install from /afs/dev/user/amb/rhlinux.)  But (aside from an annoying and
obvious-when-you-get-to-it xlogin bug), that *should* get you a workingish
9.0.0 system.
