Athena8.4/RedHat6.2 installer problems

Hi. I tried to use the Athena8.4/Linux6.2 installer twice
on a computer which previously had Athena 8.2/RedHat5.2 installed
successfully. It downloads all the packages and then hangs up at the
Post install, displaying the message "Performing Post-Install Configuration".
This is an old Pentium-Pro 200 with NE2000 network card (apparently
does not cause any problems) and Matrox Millenium 4MB graphics
(the installer recognizes it and the monitor correctly, ang configures
X properly.
Any suggestions?
I am kind of left without a workstation because of that...
