I did an install tonight and found that when I
tried to run mkserv remote it generated errors
because it was trying to find files that corresponded
with 8.4.0 -- it's still unclear to me whether or not
it managed to set the inetd variables correctly.
Perhaps more later. Though I suspect the installer may
want to actually set the correct version number in
/etc/athena/version
