These errors (the NFS error and many of the zephyr errors) sound like
the DNS record for your host hasn't propagated properly. The zephyr
server does some name lookups, as does NFS.. If your DNS record hasn't
propagated properly, this is the error message you will see.
Also, are you sure that you have you /etc/hosts and name resolution set
up properly?
Zwgc does not have a dependency on AFS (at least, it shouldn't).
