I installed 6.1 from the CD and then enabled network support with netconf.
No recompiling was necessary. No kernel modules parameters either.
Yes, i have the PnP turned off and the tranceiver set to
rj-45/UTP/10base-t or whatever (as opposed to auto). I was unable to get
networking to work until making these changes to the card's flash memory.
It's just bizarre that the bootnet.img and sipb disk can't get the card to
work when it works fine in linux.
