Hi, I can't use the beta installer. I bet it has to do with my old-skool
network card, a 3com 3c509b ISA card. (I get an error that the NFS drive
could not be mounted)
I was able to install linux myself from a CD and then run netconfig to
turn on the network. No options are passed to the module, though -- it
simply doesn't work during the install process (note that it ALSO doesn't
work from RedHat's own bootnet.img disk)
Since the card -does- work in linux -- i'm using it now -- I hoped you
could update the installer somehow to support it. That way I'd have a
"real" machine that would take updates.
Thanks for your help or any advice,
Ken
