I said no such thing. I'm implying that a student may install their
machine at the onset with the belief that they will keep the machine
after they leave. In other words, install it at MIT but keep using it
off-campus. I suspect many of them wouldn't re-install, because it's
a relatively challenging task, and also they probably don't want to
lose local data and configuration.
