So, according to Gary Zacheiss, all hesreq really needs is the hostname
and the machine architecture, so anyone who sends mail saying 'Please
register me for hesiod' will get it at the hostname they sent mail
from. Sound good?
While I was thinking about this, it occurred to me that we should check
using stella that the IP address the user gives is registered in moira
to the hostname the user gives. Is there any way to access stella
before all the packages have been installed?
Alex.
