I installed cj

When making the floppy I lost:

linux-install-floppy says:
This is an unsupported system. Please use a
Sun, SGI, Linux or NetBSD Athena machine.

because $ATHENA_SYS isn't defined as root

After working around that I booted off of the floppy and entered what
I thought were all of the right answers (I didn;t have a floppy with
custom defaults).

I got to the "reading package list" step and teh monitor went into
power save mode.

vt1 said:

/usr/X11R6/bin/convert: No such file or directory
/usr/X11R6/bin/convert: No such file or directory
gdk_imlib ERROR: Cannot load image: /usr/shar.anaconda/pixmaps/athena-workstation.png
All fallbacks failed.
Unable to load athena-workstation.png

I switched to vt7 and found an X configuration menu

Out of curiosity I proceeded, and had to do the vt1/vt7 dance one more
time, and it formatted the partitions and started doing the install.

I ended up with a non-optimal X server resolution, but I suppoose that
may have been my own fault.

I've left my install floppy in cj's drive. The install I just did is
on teh disk labeled as a "linux test install". If you want to use it,
put ti on the scsi chain instead of the other external whit is cj's
normal system disk. I've rebooted cj onto it's normal drive.

PS. oops I'm a bonehead and missed jdunagan's mail before I sent
mine. oops.
