Hello,

I installed Red Hat 6.2 on my PC. Since I have an new Athlon
processer, I had to update the kernel to version 2.2.16. I then
performed a layered athenization according to the instructions at
<http://web.mit.edu/als/www/layered.html>. I particularly installed
layered-8.4.9. However, afs did not come up. When I boot the
machine, the error message is something like:

starting AFS module:libafs-2.2.16.o does not exist: afs
not mounted

I would appreciate any of your help in resolving this matter.
Thanks.

Rama Mukkamala
