Subject: Upgrading from Red Hat-Athena 4.2 to 5.2

Several people have asked how to upgrade from Red Hat-Athena 4.2 to
5.2, so I'll send the information here. The cleanest way is to back
the data you care about up somewhere, install a fresh 5.2 system, and
then restore your data. If that approach is not feasible, you can try
using the "upgrade" option when installing; however, due to some
changes in the Athena packages' layout, you'll want to deinstall them
before upgrading and then install the Athena packages for 5.2
afterwards.

If you would like these directions clarified, feel free to ask
linux-help.
