I took a call the other day, and spend 15 minutes trying to find a
document more recent than 1997 to refer the user to.
Umm... 15 minutes? I found this in roughly 8 seconds:
/mit/sipb/doc% ls -lL linux*
-rw-r--r-- 1 svalente 12728 Feb 18 1999 linux-net-install.dvi
After checking /mit/sipb/doc for the up-to-date .dvi, I checked
/afs/sipb/project/doc for the source and found:
/afs/sipb/project/doc/ilinux/linux-net-install% ls -l *.tex
-r--r--r-- 1 svalente 9732 Feb 18 1999 rh-net-install.tex
Could someone please delete (or update) the out of date
copies of the documentation that are floating around?
I don't know of any places to check for sipb documentation other than
/mit/sipb/doc and /afs/sipb/project/doc.
Where did you check?
